CALIFORNIA PROPOSITION 65 WARNINGSUpdated a month ago

We appreciate your concern regarding the California Proposition 65 warnings seen on our website and labels. We want to assure you that all Beauty Pie products meet the highest industry standards and are safe for their intended use. These warnings are required by law for sales to customers located in California.

WHAT IS PROPOSITION 65?

Proposition 65, or the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, was passed by California voters to help reduce exposure to chemicals the state considers toxic. The law requires that California residents be warned about possible risks from exposure to chemicals found in products.

WHY DOES BEAUTY PIE INCLUDE THIS WARNING?

Businesses are required to follow this law for California customers. Some of the chemicals listed are naturally occurring and exempt, but for transparency Beauty Pie has adopted a cautious approach to labeling. This means the warning may appear on some products as a legal precaution.

WHY IS THE WARNING INCLUDED ON PRODUCTS SOLD OUTSIDE CALIFORNIA?

To ensure compliance and simplify our labeling process, we apply the Prop 65 warning when required to some products sold in the US, regardless of the customer's state.
